HEC Universities Ranking 2023 Top Universities in All Categories Higher Education Commission HEC announced the University’s Ranking for 2023. This page gives an overview of Pakistan’s top universities. The universities were announced by Chairman, HC Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad at the HEC secretariat. The Pakistan Higher Education Commission (HEC), publishes official rankings of higher education institutions in Pakistan based on a variety of criteria.HEC releases the Universities Ranking to Facilitate Students and Parents. It is also a way to encourage positive competition between universities.
Rankings of Universities in Pakistan 2023
The HEC rating is calculated using five factors. Each factor has a specific weight and is added together to give an overall score of 100. This ranking was only available to HEC-recognized universities. This score is used for establishing top institutions in Pakistan. Distance-learning universities were not included in the ranking. A collection of sub-components determines the weight and criterion.

HEC Announces New Ranking of Pakistani Universities 2023
For the year 2023, there are a total of 30.000 Universities around the world and only 210 Universities in Pakistan. University of Management and Technology (also known as UMT) is located in Lahore and was founded in 1990.
